For over 20 years the Design Institute of Australia (DIA) has hosted their annual Hall of Fame celebration, honouring 140 designers whose work has shaped and elevated our nation’s design culture. Joined for an intimate evening at the NGV, leaders from across the design and culture sectors recently gathered to recognise 5 new Australian designers for the 2025 year.

Schiavello joined Saturday Indesign to present ‘Workplace in Full Bloom’, where workspaces are thoughtfully curated to support the way people work today, and how they’ll grow tomorrow.

Designed with architectural presence and everyday functionality in mind, the Totem collection of tables and planters offers a bold visual anchor while supporting a diverse range of workplace activities. Freestanding by design, the collection can be easily relocated to accommodate evolving spatial requirements and extend the life of the workspace.

Schiavello proudly marks 20 years of its distinctive logo — a timeless design by award-winning graphic designer Garry Emery, inspired by our enduring ‘Anything is Possible’ mantra.

Schiavello’s award winning Focus Quiet Room collection has released a range of advancements to support greater productivity and wellbeing across diverse working styles. Introducing two new room sizes, extending the range to six rooms to further support the needs of today’s workplace.

As part of Melbourne Design Week, 100 CHAIRS celebrated the chair as a platform for experimentation, craftsmanship and creative expression — bringing together over 100 Australian creatives, studios, architects and designers to explore what a chair can represent beyond function alone.

Schiavello’s Southbank showroom recently received a transformation, revealing brand new workplace solutions, a refreshed space, and advanced technology offerings.

Schiavello have again been recognised with five ‘Best of NeoCon’ awards, during their third year at the leading commercial interior design event in Chicago.
