Every piece of furniture is the start of a story.

The workplace is no longer defined by a single way of working. Focus Booth II responds to this shift with a versatile approach to privacy, creating spaces that support concentration, conversation and connection within the open workplace.

Honouring Our Past, Celebrating Our People, Building Our Future

For over 20 years the Design Institute of Australia (DIA) has hosted their annual Hall of Fame celebration, honouring 140 designers whose work has shaped and elevated our nation’s design culture. Joined for an intimate evening at the NGV, leaders from across the design and culture sectors recently gathered to recognise 5 new Australian designers for the 2025 year.

Schiavello Furniture has completed a major refresh of its head office showroom in Tullamarine, creating a dynamic workplace environment that showcases the latest product innovations while demonstrating contemporary ways of working.

Designed with architectural presence and everyday functionality in mind, the Totem collection of tables and planters offers a bold visual anchor while supporting a diverse range of workplace activities. Freestanding by design, the collection can be easily relocated to accommodate evolving spatial requirements and extend the life of the workspace.

Schiavello proudly marks 20 years of its distinctive logo — a timeless design by award-winning graphic designer Garry Emery, inspired by our enduring ‘Anything is Possible’ mantra.

The conversation around technology in the workplace has evolved far beyond discussions about desk booking systems, collaboration tools, or hybrid work policies. At a recent industry panel event focused on the future of workplace technology, leaders across workplace strategy, architecture, property, and operations explored a much bigger question: what role should the workplace play in an increasingly digital and AI-enabled world?

As part of Melbourne Design Week, 100 CHAIRS celebrated the chair as a platform for experimentation, craftsmanship and creative expression — bringing together over 100 Australian creatives, studios, architects and designers to explore what a chair can represent beyond function alone.

Schiavello’s Southbank showroom recently received a transformation, revealing brand new workplace solutions, a refreshed space, and advanced technology offerings.
